Facilities
Seeded from major operators' published locators, verified against Companies House for single-site operators, and cross-referenced with OpenStreetMap and Google Places tags. Every record carries a verified or unverified flag in the UI. Crowd-suggested additions go through manual review.
Planning
Manually tracked across a focused set of high-growth local planning authorities at launch — covering ~40% of UK applications by volume. The schema is built so a paid national aggregator feed can plug in without restructuring. We mark each application with its LPA source and validation date.
Catchment & demographics
ONS data at LSOA/MSOA level for population, income, age and tenure mix. Isochrones via standard drive/transit/walk APIs. Supply Gap Score benchmarks against the UK average sqft per 100k residents.
What we won't do
Invent statistics, dress up coverage, or hardcode marketing numbers that go stale. The stat bar on the home page is computed from the live dataset.
